Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Cook Mobile Service. By scheduling or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

 

1. Services Provided

Cook Mobile Service provides mobile automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services at customer-requested locations. All services are performed based on visible inspection and customer-provided information.

 

2. Mobile Service Limitations

Due to the nature of mobile repair, some services cannot be completed on-site. If a repair requires specialized equipment or shop conditions, we will recommend a qualified repair facility. We are not responsible for work performed by third-party shops.

 

3. Estimates & Authorization

All estimates are based on initial inspection and may change if additional issues are discovered. No additional work will be performed without customer approval.

By approving service, you authorize Cook Mobile Service to perform agreed-upon repairs and acknowledge potential risks associated with automotive repair.

 

4. Pricing & Payment

Payment is due immediately upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept: [Cash, Card, Cash App, etc.—edit as needed]

Failure to pay may result in:

 • Refusal of future service

 • Collection efforts or legal action

 

5. Deposits (If Applicable)

Certain jobs may require a deposit (especially for special-order parts). Deposits are non-refundable once parts are ordered.

 

6. Customer-Supplied Parts

Customers may provide their own parts; however:

 • No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts

 • We are not responsible for part failure, defects, or incorrect parts

Labor related to installing customer-supplied parts is non-refundable.

 

7. Warranty on Labor

We provide a limited 30-day labor warranty on repairs performed by Cook Mobile Service.

This warranty:

 • Covers workmanship errors only

 • Does NOT cover part failure, misuse, neglect, or unrelated issues

 • Is void if repairs are altered or tampered with by another party

All warranty claims must be reported within the 30-day period.

 

8. Parts Warranty

Any parts supplied by Cook Mobile Service may carry a manufacturer warranty. All parts claims must follow the manufacturer’s process and approval.

 

9. No Guarantee on Pre-Existing or Hidden Issues

Vehicles may have underlying or pre-existing problems not visible during initial inspection. Cook Mobile Service is not responsible for:

 • Additional failures after service

 • Issues unrelated to the original repair

 

10. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of automotive repair:

 • Labor charges are non-refundable once work is completed

 • Refunds will not be issued for correctly performed services

 • If a mistake in workmanship occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to correct it under our labor warranty

 

11. Emergency / Roadside Services

For emergency or roadside calls:

 • Response times are estimates and not guaranteed

 • Additional fees may apply based on location, time, or conditions

 • Customers must ensure a safe environment for service

 

12. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

 • Provide accurate vehicle information

 • Ensure the vehicle is accessible and safe to work on

 • Secure pets and maintain a safe workspace

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe.

 

13. Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted under Louisiana law, Cook Mobile Service is not liable for:

 • Pre-existing damage

 • Loss of vehicle use

 • Delays due to weather, traffic, or parts availability

 • Incidental or consequential damages

 

14. Cancellations & No-Shows

We require reasonable notice for cancellations. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in:

 • Service refusal

 • Required deposits for future bookings

 

15. Right to Refuse Service

Cook Mobile Service reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, inappropriate behavior, or unreasonable demands.

 

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
